미학과 해외저명학자 초청강연에 대해 안내드립니다.

프랑스 미학의 최근 경향은 리오타르, 데리다, 들뢰즈, 크리스테바, 코프만 등 20세기 후반의 중요한 프랑스 철학자들과 미학자들을 맥락화하고 비교하는 방향으로 나아가고 있습니다. 이번에 초빙한 영국 Leeds Beckett University 예술대학 소속 Kiff Bamford 교수는 주요 연구 분야인 리오타르의 미학 및 예술 철학에 관한 영미권 연구 분야의 세계적인 리더 중 한 명으로, 이번 강연을 통하여 글쓰기의 맥락에서 리오타르와 데리다를 어떻게 비교할 수 있는지의 관점을 제공할 것입니다. 관심 있는 분들의 많은 참여 바랍니다.

Bio: Kiff Bamford is Professor in Art & Philosophy at the School of Arts, Leeds Beckett University, UK. His main areas of research are French aesthetics and performance art. He is the author of Lyotard and the Figural in Performance, Art and Writing (Continuum 2012) and Jean-François Lyotard: A Critical Life (Reaktion 2017) and editor of Jean-François Lyotard: The Interviews and Debates (Bloomsbury 2020), (with Robert Harvey) Jean-François Lyotard: Readings in Infancy (Bloomsbury 2023) and (with Margret Grebowicz) Lyotard and Critical Practice (Bloomsbury 2022).
